VentureLab Marketing Materials

When I joined VentureLab, the non-profit had very few marketing materials outside of their website dedicated to summer camps. As the curriculum product developed there was a noticeable lack of marketing tools available to the sales team. I was given the opportunity first as a marketing and sales intern and then as a creativity and marketing coordinator to help develop and define VentureLab's cohesive visual brand.

VentureLab worked with schools and non-profit partners to provide project-based entrepreneurship programs and professional development that prepare K-12 students with 21st century skills. The non-profit's goal is to decrease the gender gap in tech, entrepreneurship and leadership roles by igniting the entrepreneurial spirit in girls today to be tomorrow's confident and creative leaders. Scroll down to see a selection of the projects I worked on when creating VentureLab's marketing collateral.

Direct Mail: Knock Your Socks Off

After establishing the materials in the sales package, I developed our first direct mail campaign. Using analytics gathered from the online email marketing campaign, we were able to target interested contacts with our Knock Your Socks Off campaign. Included in the mailer was a pair of lightning strike crew socks and the campaign postcard.

Icons

I used icons as a way to connect various concepts to a visual signifier. Here is a sampling of the icons used in various piece of marketing collateral.
